Project manager, advisor and trainer: you do it all

As Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you play a major role in making Dutch buildings more sustainable. You will be responsible for sustainability projects, principally in the existing building sector. For offices, industrial locations, homes, care institutions, and more, you will be a junior advisor on energy & sustainability.

You will help customers map out their sustainability options and formulate objectives. Afterwards, you will support them in actually achieving these goals. This is how you achieve success together with the customer.

The work as a Sustainable Energy Consultant is multifaceted. In addition to conducting research and analysis, your duties will also include teaching and training. Finally, you will also certify buildings. So if you are also familiar with energy labels, this Energy Consultant position is for you.

With this package of tasks, you will become a successful consultant in the energy sector:

• You are a project manager for energy-saving and sustainability projects;

• You independently advise customers on sustainable solutions in the field of renewable energy, building installations and construction issues;

• You assist clients in obtaining sustainability certifications;

• You are responsible for the energy management of various types of client;

• You implement sustainable innovations;

• You are a pioneer in the field of circular construction

• A driven, entrepreneurial and ambitious professional with an affinity for sustainability, technology and construction;

• Preferably university education, but at least a degree from a university of applied sciences;

• An open and proactive attitude;

• A focus on quality and results;

• Familiarity with and experience in sustainability projects (particularly in the buildings sector) is a plus;

• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in a technical environment as junior consultant, technician, building manager, or the like. But if you have the right background and are looking for a first job, we may also have a place for you.

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• Live in the Randstad or at most 45 minutes’ drive from Apeldoorn.
